The Santa Barbara Red Cross is offering free group counciling sessions to help survivors of the Tea Fire and the Jesusita Fire to help deal with the trama of losing thier home and possessions in a wildfire.  Many Tea Fire survivors have found these sessions to be very helpful in dealing with all of the emotional and psychological effects of such a loss.  For more information Contact the Red Cross of Santa Barbara:

Santa Barbara County Psychological Association

A group of members from the Santa Barbara County Psychological Association have committed to provide direct supportive counseling to any person affected by the fire.   All are licensed clinical psychologists with doctoral degrees who have training in dealing with stress and crisis.  While their availability may vary, they have each committed to provide at least three hours of free consultation to individuals who directly experienced or have been displaced by the fire.   These include the following individuals and their office numbers; individuals needing their services may contact them directly at their office numbers below.  Further information regarding their training and background, including age groups they see in their practice, is available at www.sbpsychologists.org.
